I got my Pilates reformer a month ago, and it actually arrived a week earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise! The communication from the company was solid from start to finish. The reformer came in a sturdy wooden shipping box, and everything was in perfect condition when I unpacked it.
I’ve used a Body Balance Studio reformer before, and I’d say the quality is super close, with just a few small differences. The ropes are a bit thinner compared to the Balanced Body reformer, but honestly, it didn’t affect my workout at all—just something I noticed. The padding on the carriage is thinner than the BB, but for me, it’s actually more stable when standing on the carriage for exercises, so no complaints there.
The wood is gorgeous clear maple, and it’s really solid. I love that this package came with the jump board, one grippy and one cushioned platform extender, and the big box—all extras with most high-end reformers like Balanced Body. The straps are padded with a soft, velvety material, which is a nice touch. I also appreciate the different spring adjustment levels as I continue to progress in my training.
Overall, I feel like I got a top-quality reformer for thousands less than the Balanced Body Studio. I was a little unsure about buying from a newer company, but I’m really glad I did!
